Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
I bought this bike rack back in April but wanted to make sure I used it to give the best review. First I want to say I did a lot of research on bike racks and found this one to be the best one to fit my needs. The best price I found was on etrailer.com, at the time it was When I called the customer service to place my order, I spoke to Dan. He was very pleasant on the phone and took the time and listened to what I needed and understood my concerns. I ordered the bike rack and also ordered the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device and the Thule Cable Lock w/ One Key System Lock. Dan suggested I also get the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, which I never even thought of getting. Delivery was in about two business days, which was really fast and at the time of order they were running a special free delivery over $99. When I went to put it together I noticed I was missing the flat cap screw M6 x 16mm, part number #853-5787-02. I emailed Dan and within 24 hours received an email that the part was sent out and also in the email their was a link to track the order. After I received the part I did notice that the flat cap screw was actually in the 2 inch adaptor sleeve. The instructions were very easy to read, and it took me about 20 minutes to put together. I did have an issue when I positioned the stinger into the cradle, with the 8mm locking nut, it was not staying tight and when I took it off I noticed the threads inside were gone, so I ended up going out to Lowes and buying a new one and its holds perfectly fine. I also had a question about that part because it is not a locking part and was worried someone would try to steal the rack. I contacted etrailer.com to find if they make a locking device for this and they said no but I can contact Thule to double check, I'm still waiting for an answer back from Thule. The weather finally broke and we installed the rack onto my hitch, tightened it and it doesn't rattle. When I finally used the rack and put my bike on, it did sway a little but at 50 mph I was very happy with it. The trailer comes out just enough away from my car that I do not have to fold completely out and I can open my trunk with no issues. I am very happy with my purchase and had a great customer experience with Dan. Would highly recommend ordering from them to anyone.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Excellent and prompt customer service! When I first ordered my product it wasn’t in stock— staff were quick to let me know and offered me comparable products. I ended up waiting for my original order and shipping quick and they stayed in touch with ideas! Thule: The instructions could be a little more detailed. I ended up watching YouTube videos to help me instal. Overall it was easy, and this was the first rack I’ve ever installed and I did it by myself! I was surprised to learn the bike rack is in no way secured inside your vehicle, so.. I store it in my garage when it’s on.
Ordered online, it shipped the same day. Received it 3 days later. There is a little assembly, but, pretty simple. It took me less than 15 minutes to install and no tools were needed. It is adjustable to be used on many different auto types, but, the instructions were very clear about how to adjust it to fit my 2011 Ford Edge. I have used it twice so far to transport my bike. There are a couple of items that are inherent in the design, not a flaw, but, you need to be aware of them. First, you can't use rear window wipers. Second, the back-up alarm goes nuts because it registers a bike less than 6 inches behind you (I tolerate it for the few seconds it takes to back out of my driveway or out of a parking lot). Third, there is a little flexibility, it is held on with straps and clamps, not bolts, so, it bounces a little when you go over bumps or make sharp turns, however, it holds the bike fast to the frame and stays on the car. I use mine to transport my bike on short trips around town to bike trails. On a long trip I would suggest checking that the straps remain tight from time to time during the drive.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.
I like the overall design of this rack, but unfortunately after hauling a couple bikes around for a while the point where the crossbar connects has apparently rounded off so the rack swings back and forth. I've used rope to tie the ends of the rack to the car to stop this from getting worse, but it's inconvenient. Note: the hitch connection itself is good and solid, but the point where the crossbar connects to the bar coming from the hitch has gotten loose and there's no way that I can see to tighten it.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Fits perfectly on our Lexus CT200h. Only on the old LS400, the side straps have to be fastened to the wheel arch edge, since the upper trunklid gap is to narrow for inserting the strap hooks. Mounting of two bikes is (with some routine) quickly done, and they stay safe even for longer and faster routes. For transporting three (mountain) bikes, though, the design doesn't seem big and robust enough. Nevertheless, the price-benefit-fun ratios are way better than reasonable.
The side / bottom straps are seriously lacking. It has those straps you would find on a backpack, making it difficult to securely tighten down because of the angle. I'd usually have to pre-tighten them to a certain length, then forcefully shove the whole rack until it clipped onto my car. They really just need to be ratchet straps. Even then, one of the side straps came off while driving after hitting a small pothole and the whole thing dangled to one side - Luckily I was in a parking lot. I've also never been able to fit 3 regular bikes, only 2. It's really only a capacity of 3 if you have 2-3 slim bikes. The rubber is so wide that it makes it nearly impossible to slide certain bikes on. If you have a step thru bike with one of those crossbar adapters, I wouldn't even bother with trying this. Unfortunately I don't use this anymore since I'd be constantly worrying the whole thing will come off whenever I drive.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Check out my other review on the hidden hitch for a 2015 BMW 4 Series for the majority of the review, but this thing is great. Easy setup and install, does all the things it's supposed to do. Mounting and removing bikes is a snap with the included clips (big difference from some of the cheaper variants with nylon ratchet straps). Fits very snugly in my 2" receiver, and pretty solid on the highway and over bumpy roads.
First trip with 3 bikes. Nary a wobble. The anti-sway strips appear to make a big difference.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Works great for my 2019 Jeep Renegade. I adjusted it to be open a little more, so I could use my rear wiper. It also keep pressure off the rear spoiler.
When I started the search for a bike rack, I was so disappointed and upset to hear that I would need to install a hitch and spend even more money to buy another bike rack for my 2016 jeep renegade. I ordered this bike rack with a little hope but got a huge surprise! Not only is it super convenient and easy to install but I can fully use my trunk and not spend a ton of money!

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I ordered the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack on line from etrailer and so far have been very satisfied. The bike rack was delivered in less than a week. Unpacking the rack and assembly was fairly straightforward. I have read some reviews that complained the assembly instructions were a bit vague. I didn't have a problem but can see where others without a mechanical background get confused. The rack is very sturdy, but there is some side to side play in the tilt mechanism. I'm not sure this can be avoided with a rack that folds down. Installing the Curt trunk stabilizing strap takes most of the sway out of the rack. Installation is fairly easy and quick. It takes me 6 - 7 minutes to install the back on my hitch, and to install the bike and be ready to drive away. That seems reasonable to me. So far I've only loaded 1 bike. I've included pictures of my installation on a 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 sedan. Clearance between the bikes, the rack and the car are good. With the bike loaded in the inside, most forward position, I have 6" clearance between the pedal and the bumper. With the bike removed, the center support folded flat and the rack folded up in the storage position, I have 4" clearance between the closest part of the bike rack (the fold down hinge assembly) and the back bumper of the car. I am able to open the trunk of the car without removing the bikes or using the tilt feature, but I do have to remove the stabilizing strap first. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bike rack and think it will serve me much better than my old strap on rack. Since the weather has been cool since getting the bike carrier, I haven't taken any long trips to give it a real workout.
Truly grooving on my wife's new Swagman Chinook bike rack. She wanted to be able to transport her nice road bike easily without throwing it in the back of her car, and since a roof rack is out of the question, this Swagman model fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly on the anticipated date. Kudos to etrailer.com for the email updates to keep me informed of my purchase. Within one hour, it was installed on my wife's 2014 Mazda3 hatchback. The Swagman is heavy and solid, which is reassuring as it makes me feel confident that it will keep the bikes secure. It also makes me feel like I got my money's worth. A ratchet wrench and Phillip's head screwdriver were the only tools required for the easy install. I did my research before purchasing the Chinook model as I was also eyeballing a very similar Thule rack that was slightly more expensive. I spoke with an etrailer.com expert who gave me the lowdown on both models. Ultimately, the Swagman won out because it has a smaller 'footprint' while extended or folded up ... and also can tilt away from the car for easy access to the hatchback area. Very convenient! FYI: Mazda doesn't make a trailer hitch for the Mazda3 as it's a small car with a small engine and has no business towing anything. Thankfully, the Curt company makes an aftermarket frame and trailer hitch that fits the Mazda3 hatchback perfectly with no drilling. Stupidly, I purchased it from another online company thinking I was getting a good deal. Turns out etrailer.com had it for less with FREE shipping. Oh well ... live and learn. Now I know that etrailer.com is one-stop shopping for bike racks AND trailer hitches. (Full disclosure: I had the garage down the street install the frame as it's easier with a lift) Only snafu: the shipment contained an extra set of keys that I assumed was for the hitch bolt lock (there was also a set of keys on the bolt itself). I spent 15 minutes using those keys trying to figure out how to remove the lock from the bolt to install it on the hitch. The keys just wouldn't turn in the lock. I called etrailer.com and Kevin told me to try the other set of keys ... and they worked. So an extra set of keys came with it that did absolutely nothing ... weird! Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity and durability of the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack as I just installed it. What I can speak to is the sturdiness of it, the ease of the installation and my complete satisfaction with the good folks at etrailer.com.

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Planning on bringing bikes while camping. I mounted 2 of the Swagman bike racks to my new Sportrack on my pop-up camper. The bikes fit perfectly. The racks seem sturdy enough. Not heavy duty, but for my needs they should be fine. Assembly was relatively fast and easy.
As always with products I buy from e-Trailer, this item is exactly as advertised and works perfectly. Easy assembly, I bought 2 but only installed one until I check the fit with my rooftop carrier.

Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
The BEST bike carrier by far!! We are both in our 7th decade and even I alone (5’2” 120 lbs) can manage to attach this in my hitch without any issues. It’s so easy to load both our hybrid and e-bike and they are super secure. We love that it folds up small and wheels away when not in use. This bike carrier is worth every penny!!
This rack is perfect! eTrailer had it shipped and at my home in almost no time. I drove with it on the car today, and it was solid and secure. It's super easy to get on and off the hitch. I'm 5'1 and I was able to load the bike on with the ramp without a struggle. Thanks for the thorough video and comparison information. It made this purchase easy.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.
this thing is a beast. while i haven't used it as much as i thought i would, i'm really happy with the quality of the rack. would def recommend to others looking for a 4 bike rack.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
All right, Matt with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Bike Rack on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. I think this is gonna be a good choice if you're just looking for something that's gonna be an entry level bike rack just get your bikes from point A to point B. It's gonna have the capacity to hold two bikes, 35 pounds each, so unfortunately, it won't be able to accommodate your heavier e-bikes, and it's gonna have three tie-down points, one on each tire, using a strap. And we're gonna have a clamp on the frame. So unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend using any carbon frame bikes, but it will be able to accommodate some other alternative frame bikes, since this kind of slides up and down and can rotate some. If you wanna get into your hatch, you're gonna have to take the bike off, since this doesn't have a tilt-away feature.
Kuat Piston Pro 4 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today when gonna talk about the Kuat Piston Pro Bike Rack for four bikes on the 2023 Toyota Highlander I'd definitely recommend this bike rack for anyone who wants a premium bike rack, but either wants to go out with the family, make sure you can haul all four of your bikes, or if you wanna go out with friends and ride your bikes with them. What's nice about it is that it's gonna make two points of contact, one on each tire, so you're gonna be able to haul a lot of carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes. And for all four bikes, you can carry up to 40 pounds. Now the nice thing about this rack is it has a tilt-away feature. Now there's a couple pros and cons to it.
Kuat NV 2-0 Base 2-Bike Platform Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now this is gonna be a solid bike rack if you're looking for something that's gonna be a little bit more versatile and something a little bit more in the premium end. What kind of makes this more versatile is that it's a platform bike rack that can hold up to two bikes, but it can hold bikes up to 60 pounds, so that's gonna be able to accommodate your e-bikes. Another thing that makes it more versatile is where it straps on, it's gonna have two tie-down points, one on the back tire with a strap, and the front one's gonna be a hook that hooks onto your tire. And what's important about that is it's gonna be able to accommodate a lot of different types of bikes, like your carbon frame bikes or a lot of alternative frame bikes. Another nice feature is it's ability to tilt away and to do that is pretty easy.
Hollywood Racks Destination E 2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination E bike rack on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. I think this is gonna be a solid choice for the Highlander if you're look to haul any heavy E-bikes, and that's because this carrier can carry up to 70 pounds per bike holding up the two of them, and it's gonna have a lot of strap down points. It's gonna have two on the front, one on the back tire, and it's gonna have this very sturdy clamp on our frame. Now unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend using any carbon frame bikes because that clamp might damage the frame some. What I do like about this clamp though, is it can adjust on this center mast so it'll be able to accommodate a lot of different or alternative frames.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima RidgeBack bike rack for four bikes on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now I think this would be a great value option if you're looking for anything that's gonna be a hanging style that can carry up to four bikes. Especially if you're kind of going out with the family or you're going out with friends, it would be an easy way to kind of take all those bikes with you. Now, I wouldn't recommend taking any bikes that are carbon frame since we're gonna have three points of contact, and those contact points are gonna be on our frame. Now if you have any alternative frame bikes, I'd recommend probably getting a bike adapter bar just so you can adapt to those bikes being on there.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have the Kuat Piston Pro X 3-Bike Platform Rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now, the Kuat Piston Pro X is a very impressive bike rack. We have this dual wheel mount design, we have the wiring for our taillights, and we also have the ability to very easily take off that third rack if you wanna go back to the 2-bike platform rack. We'll take a look at all those features here on our Highlander.
Yakima FullTilt 5 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the Yakima FullTilt Bike Rack for five bikes on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. This is gonna be a hanging bike rack that's gonna be able to hold up to five bikes. And it's gonna be at a very affordable price for the amount of bikes it can hold. Something to keep in mind. It can hold each bike up to 40 pounds each, but it does have a max capacity of 150 pounds so I'd try not to exceed either one of those numbers.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks SE Sport Rider for four bikes on the 2023 Toyota Highland. Now, this is gonna be a great choice if you go riding with a bunch of friends and need to haul those heavier like e-bikes, since it can haul four bikes up to 50 pounds each. Another thing to note is we're gonna have three tight on points. We're gonna have one on each tire using this hook and loop strap and then one at the top of the frame here using just this hook. This hook's nice and padded.
Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, Ryan here at e-trailer. Today on our 2023 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 hitch mounted bike rack. First impression of the rack on the back of a Highlander, it's big but that's because this can carry up to three bikes. If you need to carry more, there's a four bike version available and if you need to carry less, there's a two and a one bike. So, you kind of got all your bases covered there. But with that in mind, it looks like it fits pretty good.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have Yakima OnRamp two-bike platform rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Toyota Highlander. So the OnRamp is pretty popular because of how it's designed for electric bikes with a ramp included on the rack. So if you wanna take advantage of that 66 pound per bike weight capacity, but you're not comfortable with lifting it or those bikes onto the rack, then this ramp will help you out. And when paired with the Highlander, it becomes extra helpful because of that great ground clearance.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the RockyMounts MonoRail 2-Bike Platform Rack. We'll take a look at how this fits our 2023 Toyota Highlander. So for this bike rack, it is really popular, because of its versatility where you get the premium features like tilt away and the 60 pound per bike weight capacity at a slightly more affordable price than the other premium bike racks. It's still a solid bike rack though, and I recommend it almost every single time. With the Highlander, there are some things to consider, like the Highlander's hitch does sit a little bit higher up, so you are having to lift your bikes a bit more to get them onto the rack. Another feature of the MonoRail is the tilt away.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack and how it fits our 2023 Toyota Highlander. So the Kuat NV is really popular as a premium bike rack with premium features, if you want almost the best of the best, this is what you would go with. Now, it does have some downsides like its premium price as well as it is a hefty bike rack, so we'll talk about that, but we're gonna focus on our Highlander. The first feature this has is it tilts away. There's an easy to access lever in the center of the rack, we're gonna pull that lever, and then just let the bike rack drop down to a tilt. Swagman XC2 2 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander
What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Swagman XC2 on a 2022 Toyota Highlander. It's gonna be a platform style bike rack, that means it's gonna hold the bike by the frame, so it does have this hook that comes down along the frame. Makes contact there, but it is padded, so you don't have to worry about it damaging the frame at all, I still wouldn't recommend putting carbon fiber bikes on there, but all the other bikes should be just fine. Let's take a second to look at how it sits on the back of the vehicle. It doesn't look like it's gonna cover up the taillights too bad, the tires cover up a small portion, you can still see it above there.
Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander
AJ What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2022 Toyota Highlander. So we have a platform style bike rack which means the bike's gonna sit on this platform. It holds it by the tire up front and there's a strap on the back tire helping hold the bike steady and in place, which since it doesn't make any frame contact, really opens it up for all the different style bikes it can actually hold. So you don't have to worry about putting a carbon fiber bike on here because it's not going to make contact, so no damage done. One of the nice features is that you can tilt away the bike rack with the bike on there.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander
Hi, everyone. Aidan, here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack hanging style bike rack here on our 2022 Toyota Highlander. Now, this rack's gonna hold the bike by the frame, hanging down like this. So it's not gonna be great for our carbon frame bikes just because it's gonna be putting a lot of pressure on the frame. You can see we've got three points of contact.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander
Hi, everyone. Aiden, here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack Destination 2 bike rack here on our 2022 Toyota Highlander. Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination e-bike rack here on our 2022 Toyota Highlander. Now, for me, this is one of my favorite e-bike racks for a number of reasons and we'll get into that into the video here. But as you can see, we're holding the bike down in this tray with these three wheel straps, and then up top with this clamp. It's gonna tighten down with the hand knob and is fully lockable, so it's secure when you're not around.

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. Today we're taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 here on the back of our 2022 Toyota Highlander. So this is a really, really nice way of getting two bikes to wherever you guys are going. Now, I will say kind of fits comfortably between your kind of a medium duty applications. Why do I say that Well, we have a 40 pound capacity rating per bike, which is going to be excellent for almost all of our standard road bikes, getting up into that mountain bike range.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at how the Swagman E-Spec fits on the 2021 Toyota Highlander. So this is gonna be the updated design for the Swagman E-Spec where you have a higher weight capacity of 80 pounds per bike and you have the ability to use this with the ramp and bridge add-on sold separately. In the case of the Toyota Highlander, because of how high this sits, I actually recommend taking a look at that add-on for your extra heavy electric bikes. So let's talk about things like that. When you look at bike racks, you wanna consider if this gives you access to your hatch, things like that. In the case of the E-Spec, it's a lot more fixed compared to your other bike racks.
Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have the Inno Tire Hold HD Dual Wheel Mount Bike Rack, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2021 Toyota Highlander. So the Tire Hold HD is gonna be your dual wheel mount rack, which means that there's zero frame contact. Plus, something unique to this is its extra high weight capacity of 80 pounds for your bikes. Now, for your total, try not to go over 150 pounds, and then have your heaviest bike towards your Highlander. Now, when focusing on the Highlander though, there are some different things when it comes to the fit, like how this does not tilt down far enough in order to open up your hatch, and depending on your hitch receiver, you may or may not be able to use the anti-rattle bolt.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the Yakima Ridgeback 4 bike rack here on a 2021 Toyota Highlander. So the Ridgeback is known as a hanging style bike rack and there's two main types. Hanging style and we have the platform style. Now the hanging style are great because they're typically more cost effective than the platform style. And they're also typically a little bit lighter weight so they're easier to get on and off the vehicle. The platform style however, they're gonna be easier to load your bikes onto because you don't have to lift as high and they can carry some heavier bikes.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Hollywood Destination 4 platform-style bike rack. So first impressions of the rack on the back of the Highlander. It's big, there's really no way around it, but if you want to carry around four bikes on a platform-style rack, it's something we're just gonna kind of have to live with. On the same note though, what kinda separates this one from some of the other platform-style racks of this size is how much this one weighs. It's pretty lightweight, believe it or not.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander HLY94FR
Hey everybody, Ryan here at E-Trailer. Today, on our 2021 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Hollywood Destination two-bike platform style rack. So, first impressions of the rack on the back of the Highlander. You know, I think it looks pretty good, actually it, you know, blends and kind of has a unique design to it. And it's really compact, which makes it really lightweight. So when I'm thinking, if you're someone that, you know, uses the rack from time to time or likes to pull it out a lot to put in other accessories, this definitely be something to consider.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer Today on our 2021 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be checking out the Kuat NV 2.0, hitch mounted bike rack So my first impression of the rack on the back of the Highlander, I think it looks really good actually, these Kuats are top notch when it comes to functionality and the appearance. And I really think it shows well on the back of the Toyota. I also like how high it sits off the ground, you know, it's, it's relatively high off the ground and that's going to, you know, do a good job of help keeping our bikes protected, you know, and, and we're not going to have to worry about hitting curbs and things like that. With that said, one of my favorite things about the setup is you're going to be able to kind of grow into it, if that makes sense or change it to meet your particular needs. So today we have a two bike version that we're showing off but there's also a four bike version. And the cool thing is if you're unsure, if you need that four bike version just yet, you can actually get add-ons and kinda add on as you need to meet those particular needs that you may have in the future with that said too, all of those options are going to be available in three different colors.
What our customers are saying:
